By using FinCalcHub (the "Site"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. The Site is informational only

FinCalcHub's calculators, articles, and other content are provided for general information and education. They are not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. We are not a regulated financial adviser in the UK, USA, South Africa, or any other jurisdiction. You should consult a qualified adviser before making any financial decision.

2. Accuracy and "as is" use

We make a reasonable effort to keep calculators and content accurate and up-to-date. Tax bands, contribution caps, interest rates, and other inputs change frequently. Despite our care, the Site is provided "as is" and "as available" with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Always verify any number from FinCalcHub against the relevant primary source (HMRC, SARS, the IRS, your lender, your pension administrator) before relying on it.

3. No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinCalcHub and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Site or any decision you make based on its content.

4. Acceptable use

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes free of charge.
You may not scrape, mass-download, or systematically extract content from the Site for the purpose of republishing it elsewhere without prior written permission.
You may not attempt to interfere with the Site's normal operation, security, or availability.
You may not use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property

All original content on FinCalcHub — articles, calculators, code, design — is © FinCalcHub. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. For larger reproductions or embedding, please contact jamesblanckenberg@gmail.com.

6. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites and resources (HMRC, SARS, the IRS, news publications, calculators we cite). We don't control those sites and we aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

7. Advertising

The Site displays advertising via Google AdSense. We don't endorse the products or services advertised. Ad selection and targeting is handled by Google. See our advertising & affiliate disclosure for more.

8. Privacy

Use of the Site is also governed by our privacy policy and cookie policy, both of which form part of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last reviewed" date below reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted; minor wording updates may not be. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts, unless local consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
